Update following the pause of SFI
Defra stopped accepting new applications for SFI on 11th March 2025. Details of the revised SFI scheme will be announced in 2025, with applications reopening early 2026. The best way to get updates about what is happening with SFI is to subscribe to the Defra Farming Blog (link in the Learn More section below).
