Remember the overall aim of the Upland Farmer Toolkit is to help you adapt your business to the ending of direct support. If you currently receive direct payments you can get free support to help you assess your options via the Farming Resilience Fund.
The delinked payments will be based on the average BPS payments (including any young farmer payment or greening payment) made to your business for the BPS 2020, BPS 2021 and BPS 2022 scheme years.
BPS will be replaced by a mixture of one-off payment grants and ongoing schemes for investment into farm productivity, the environment and animal health and welfare.
BPS recipients can also access free business advice from local organisations through the Future Farming Resilience Fund. See our Free farm advice page for more details.
